Singer Songwriter and author of
The Benderloch Stone, Adrian Nation
(above left) is our star guest at the Preview night on Friday 20th September. You can also sneak a look at the reading room for 2019.....
Last year Poet Jamie Livingstone, (right) took his performance art onto Oban Fm with two incisive poems and will host at WURDPLAY on Tuesday 24th September 2019 when he’ll entertain, question and inspire you with his thoughts on the world.
Jamie is MC for an open mic session where all kinds of poetry and prose will be performed by local writers...
Jamie encourages new writers and performers like you to take the plunge at Bookends.
We are a very supportive audience 😀
Begins at 7.30pm, entry is by donation.
Oban's famous cat - Parslay, has lent his support for last years Bookends.
Not to be confused with his less famous Benderloch namesake, Parslay normally restricts his favours to the town boundary but has this year branched out! We are hoping he may make a personal appearance in 2019...
keep in touch for updates!
